ICT SKILLS 2: ICT Tool and Training for E-Guidance Practitioners

The ICT SKILLS 2 Project is a transversal programme of the Lifelong Learning Programme which is funded by the European Commission’s Directorate General for Education and Culture.
Starting from the theoretical and methodological assumptions of the associated project ICT Skills for Guidance Counsellors (www.ictskills.org) previously funded by the European Commission and included in the 50 best practices of the Leonardo da Vinci Programme, the ICT Skills 2 project aims to developing innovative ICT-based training and tools for guidance practitioners working within Lifelong Learning contexts.

Through the project, guidance practitioners will have the opportunity to:
- identify and validate their ICT competences acquired within a formal, informal and non-formal contexts;
- acquire new ICT competencies;
- assess and record their ICT competences.

The project started on 1st November 2007 and it will end on 31st October 2009.
  • International Conference
    NEW ICT COMPETENCES FOR GUIDANCE THE EUROPEAN PROJECT ICT SKILLS 2

    22nd October 2009 at 14.30 Hotel Europa –
    Via Boldrini 11 di Bologna


    A final International conference, promoted by Aster S. Cons. P. A., will present the obtained results during the project length and will face potentialities and critical issues connected to the use of the ICT in the guidance services.
    The event will be held on 22nd October in the afternoon in Bologna and the project partners will take part in it: Melius (Italy), Centro Studi Pluriversum (Italy), Cyborg (Italy), Forem (Spain), University of Santiago (Spain), ISE (Romania), CRAC (UK), University of East London (UK). They event will end with a round table coordinated by Prof. Tony Watts of NICEC (UK) during which experts in the field will share the project subjects. The programme of the event will be available shortly.
